Any uploaded file can be fit into BIMcloud’s hierarchical system of Projects. Use BIMcloud Project to store, manage, and access all files, folders and related models in connection with a specific project.Īlso see: Project and file management on BIMcloud Team Management on BIMcloudIn large design projects, with numerous architects and engineers collaborating on several design teams, BIMcloud Project’s Teams panel provides an easily accessible interface to see other contributing Teams and their members.Īlso see: Team management on BIMcloud File Storage and Management on BIMcloudAs a fully open BIM platform, BIMcloud can now host file formats from any third party solution, supporting coordination among design team members. access rights) for each BIMcloud Project can be tailored to meet specific situations. The new “BIMcloud Project” on BIMcloud serves as a central directory for all the information and settings related to a design project. BIM Manager will be able to fine tune access to each file and folder to match the responsibilities of the users. To optimize the sharing of information, BIMcloud is now able to handle any kind of file.įiles will integrate into BIMcloud’s permissions system, allowing fine control on the visibility/accessibility control of them. Easy-to-use change tracking and visualization tools allow each designer to instantly know about relevant changes and provide immediate feedback to the team.Ĭoordination through BIMcloudEven in a highly collaborative environment, many outside players will need to join the team at different stages, with clearly separated responsibilities. As a result, engineers can check the structure of an architectural model in hours instead of weeks.Īlso see: Integrated Structural Analytical Model Collaboration through TeamworkThe further enhanced Teamwork® brings a whole new set of tools and solutions that provide the ideal environment to foster trust between the architect and the engineer. They use structural analysis tools, such as RISA 3D or SCIA Engineer, to simulate and optimize the behavior of the structure.Īrchicad provides bi-directional integration of these two models -BIM and Structural Analytical Model. While architects design with the help of physical models (BIM), engineers use simplified Structural Analytical Models. S.Integration between Building Information Model and Structural Analytical Model One example is adapting the Composite Material List label to show, instead of the element ID as a header, a custom defined property (that is inside the element itself and not in the GDL label). I am also looking for some guides/tutorials on GDL scripting, especially regarding customizing existing labels and zone stamps as I am trying to adapt the default labels and stamps. I think that at this time it is not possible to access and edit element properties with Python, but am sure that things like this are on the Graphisoft long term (or even short term) plan. The thing I am currently interested in is to see what are the current scripting capabilities or what can be done. The Python part is not a problem, I am already in the process of learning it. If anyone is willing to share their scripts, it would be much appreciated. As the title says I am looking for some ArchiCAD python scripting guides and sample sctipts other than the ones found on the Graphisoft site.
